This blog was created for my lovely daughter Leahna who's heart is bigger than anyone I've ever met. At nine years old she cares more about people and even moreso animals than anybody I've ever met.
She has been doing pet rescues with my wife Denise since 2006. Together they have helped rescue over 500 dogs and cats.
Every week they assist in transporting endangered dogs and cats from high kill animal shelters in the south to a no-kill shelter in Northern New Jersey.
I created this blog for her to tell her tales as well as share her pictures.
I'm adding the first picture here of just a few of the people who help with the weekly rescues.
